Red Dead Redemption Finally Coming to PC
After a 14-year wait and numerous leaks, the classic Red Dead Redemption is finally coming to PC. According to an announcement by Rockstar Games, John Marston’s unforgettable adventure will be available to PC gamers on October 29th.
This new version includes the original game’s story as well as the zombie-themed DLC, Undead Nightmare. Developed in collaboration with Double Eleven studio, the PC version offers players the following features:
- Support for 4K resolution and refresh rates up to 144Hz
- Compatibility with Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9) monitors
- HDR10 support
- Full integration of keyboard and mouse controls
Additionally, the game incorporates NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling technologies, as well as NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation support. Players will also be able to customize graphic settings such as draw distance and shadow quality to their liking.
The PC version of Red Dead Redemption will be available for purchase from October 29th through the Rockstar Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Details about pre-orders are expected to be announced later this week.
It’s worth noting that Red Dead Redemption is already playable on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox platforms. PC gamers have been able to play the game for a while using Xbox 360 emulators.
