Take-Two Interactive has officially announced that Grand Theft Auto VI will launch in fall 2025. The company’s latest financial reports confirmed the highly anticipated release window, alongside details about other upcoming projects.

Take-Two’s Upcoming Game Portfolio

Take-Two Interactive is preparing to launch several major titles in 2025. CEO Strauss Zelnick stated that this year will be one of the strongest in the company’s history, highlighting key projects:

  • Sid Meier’s Civilization VII: Releasing February 11, 2025, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
  • Mafia: The Old Country: Launching summer 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
  • Grand Theft Auto VI: Arriving fall 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. No PC release planned.
  • Borderlands 4: Slated for 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Additionally, mobile titles like CSR 3 (developed by Zynga) and Judas (from Ghost Story Games) are set to debut next year.

Financial Performance

Take-Two reported $1.37 billion in net revenue for Q3 of fiscal year 2025, driven by the success of the NBA 2K series and steady growth in mobile gaming. The company expects net revenue between $5.55 billion and $5.65 billion for fiscal year 2025.

Zelnick added, “We anticipate record-breaking net revenues in fiscal years 2026 and 2027,” emphasizing confidence in long-term investments.

Zynga’s mobile gaming division, including titles like Match Factory, continues to thrive. Take-Two remains optimistic about expanding its presence in the mobile market.
