Football Manager 25 Officially Announced: Release Date and New Features Revealed

Football Manager 25 (FM25) has finally been officially announced. Previous leaks were confirmed, and the game’s release date is set for November 26, 2024. The game will be playable on PC, Mac, Xbox, PlayStation 5, and Game Pass. The FM25 Touch version for Nintendo Switch will be released digitally on December 3.

Transition to Unity Engine and Gameplay Improvements

FM25 comes with a significant technical and visual change this year. The transition to the Unity game engine brings many new features to the game. (Many things are also going away. For example, we will no longer be able to manage national teams.) The new engine will provide both a more realistic and deeper football management experience. Additionally, the inclusion of women’s football, a completely revamped interface, and visually enhanced match day experience are among the game’s prominent new features.

Women’s Football and Tactical Revolution

The Football Manager series will introduce women’s football for the first time with FM25. Along with this, the in-game tactical management and manager customization systems have undergone a radical overhaul.

Release Date and Pre-order Details

FM25 will be released worldwide on November 26. The game will be available for pre-order on digital stores with a 10% discount starting from September 30. Pre-orders for FM25 Console (Xbox/PS5) will begin at a later date. Also, players will be able to transfer their saved games from FM24 to FM25. This feature will be available for the FM25 Mobile series for the first time.
